Hello, When using the Invisi-Brake does the towed vehicles battery get charged? Would the vacuum pump drain it? Thanks

The Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System part # RM-8700 will charge the battery on the towed vehicle using power from the running light circuit on the tail light wiring harness. The running lights on the motor home will need to be on to charge the vehicle battery when using the braking system. If you want to charge the battery on the towed vehicle without the running lights being activated you can install a battery charge line, the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles part # RM-156-25. It is possible for the system to drain the battery without the charge line.
