Question:
Hi. I’m looking to purchase a 2023 Ford Escape hybrid and ST and was seeing conflicting literature online about the ST line particularly, so I figured I’d contact those who actually deal in such matters. So would I be able to use this vehicle as a 4 down dinghy? And if so, is there a total setup of the various products that I’d need to tow it behind my class C RV? Thank you so much.

Hey, Brad.
You will always want to reference your owners manual to make sure your vehicle can be flat towed behind your RV. The manual may reference it is "recreational towing". We do carry all the parts to be able to tow your 2023 Ford Escape, however, that alone doesn't mean that your particular vehicle can be. I tried to find a PDF online to check for you but I'm not coming up with anything, just referring to log into your Ford account and check the digital version of the manual.
Based off you mentioning that its an ST line it shouldn't be a plug-in hybrid. I'll list compatible parts below for you.
Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM59GR
Roadmaster Falcon 3HD Tow Bar part # RM27NQ
Roadmaster Coiled Safety part # RM-643
Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Braking System part # DM86VR
Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit part # RM-15267
Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit part # RM-156-25
I did see a note pop up a lot about your particular model:
Once vehicle is set in Tow Mode, it is critical that you wait at least 10 minutes for the vehicle to enter Sleep Mode. If the vehicle is not in Sleep Mode it will overbrake, causing severe, non-warranty damage.
Were there any other vehicles that you were looking at or just prefer the Escape?

I have a 2023 escape st line hybrid that I tow, 4 wheels down using a roadmaster base plate and tow bar. Mine works great. I have never heard of waiting 10 minutes for it to enter sleep mode. My manual does not mention that and I do not wait. I hook it up, put it in flat tow mode on the computer and go. No problems
