Will the RM56NQ base plate fit a 2026 Colorado ZR2 non Bison without the AEV bumper option?

No, it does not Terry, but I have one that will. For a 2026 Colorado ZR2, you'll need the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit item # RM28GR. This one is custom fit for the base model ZR2 without the AEV front bumper.

We actually just got done installing the Roadmaster item # RM56NQ on a brand new 2026 Colorado ZR2. I attached a couple pictures below along with the install video we made.

Here are the rest of the parts you'll need to flat tow your 2026 Colorado ZR2:

Tow Bar - Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights item # RM-676

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit item # RM-152

Charge Line - Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit Item # RM-156-25

Battery Disconnect - Roadmaster Battery Disconnect for Towed Vehicle item # RM-766

Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter.
