Looking for a 5-Pin to 6-Pin Adapter for Furrion Chill Cube

Updated 06/18/2026 | Published 06/15/2026

Question:

I ordered the LC74DX single zone thermostat for my Furrion Chill Cube and when I went to install the unit according to the instructions, the connectors between the thermostat adapter and my AC unit dont match. My unit has a 5 pin connector and the adapter has a 6 pin connector? Is there another adapter for this???

Thanks for reaching out Ryan,

From what you've described, i am thinking there's a mismatch in the generation of thermostat and AC unit you have.

To better understand, would you reply back with the model number from the label on the rooftop AC unit?

Once I can verify the model number, I'll be able to determine whether the thermostat kit is from a different generation of the Chill Cube system or if another control component is needed.

The adapter kit hooks to the ceiling pack. It is to only run the furnace through the t stat and a/c ceiling control. Does not control a/c itself. Just went through this on 2 18k ducted units with no ceiling pack. Had to change them back out and install same units that came off and could not use the 18k

I would return it if eTrailer allows. Mine didn’t work with my furnace even though it was advertised as such. eTrailer refused return and Lippert customer support was even worse advising me to lie to eTrailer to facilitate the return. I now avoid all Lippert products

Same issue as Jarrod J. Purchased this thermostat as advertised as being able to control both the updated Furrion AC I installed and the original furnace. Such was not the case. I ended up purchasing a separate furnace only thermostat off Amazon. I now have two separate thermostats, the Furrion dual thermostat that is not dual at all and just controls the ac and now a furnace thermostat that just controls heat. I would avoid this dual thermostat model based on my experience definitely not as advertised. May work for some situations but not mine.

I had to purchase a separate thermostat to run the furnace as the furion wouldn't do both. In hindsight I would just use the remote that comes with the ac and mount the holder for it by your current thermostat. Leave that thermostat for the heater and only hook up the power wire from the ac thermostat wires to your old thermostat.
