To find the correct replacement equalizer and wet bolt/shackle strap kit for your 2024 Grand Design Imagine XLS 22BHE you'll need to first take a few measurements. For the equalizer you'll want to measure from center to center of the shackle strap bolt holes and from the center of the hanger bolt hole down to the center of the shackle strap holes. For the wet bolts/shackle straps you'll need to measure from center to center of the bolt holes.

When replacing suspension components it's best to replace with the same sizes to avoid having to replace the entire system. Swapping out the equalizer or shackle straps with different sizes could require you to replace the leaf springs as well. The most common sizes for shackle straps is going to be 2-1/4" # MR46ZR or 3-1/8" # MR76ZR.

Let me know what dimensions you find and I'd be happy to look for the correct replacements.

Hello Kevin, The stock equalizer measurement is approx 2” from top hanger hole to center strap mounting hole. Approx. 7-3/4 from one side hole to the other side. The straps holes are 2-1/4 Thank you

@Az For the shackle straps you'll want to go with the MORryde # MR46ZR. The 1/8" difference is likely just from wear on the current shackle straps. We have a few equalizers that have a matching 7-3/4" spread but they all have a 3" height instead of your 2" height. You could go with an upgraded option like the # K71-655-00 but you'd likely have to switch to larger shackle straps # MR76ZR or switch to a shorter center hanger to accommodate the increased height. This isn't an exact science though so it's hard to say without actually testing out trailer with the parts in hand. I'd try looking at Dexter or Lippert for an exact match and if you can't find one stick with the original equalizer, as long as it's still in good shape. If you want to go ahead with it any way then the goal is have the shackle straps form a 'W' with the equalizer. Too far in or too far out with the angle of the shackle straps can cause a bind up. Another way to cushion the suspension would be with the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs w/ Line Relocation Bracket # TSS-107-40. These jounce springs will mount to the leaf spring stack to help support the suspension and provide a smoother ride.
