Can Advent Air RV AC Unit Work with Lower Unit of Dometic Duo Therm

Question:
I have an Eagle Cap 990 and the A/C doesn’t get very cold so probably needs replacement. Will this unit work with on the existing air distribution box for a Duo-Therm Dometic Model 57912.531? It’s the Duo-Therm BriskAir by Dometic ADB with the six pin connector.

Hey Doug, we can help but since there was a refrigerant law change in January of 2025 there are no current AC upper units made that will work with the lower air box or thermostat you have now. You'd have to go with a kit that replaces everything like the Advent # ADV77QR which comes with the same upper unit you have now but also the correct matching lower unit you'd need for your non-ducted setup. How did you like the Duo Therm when it was working?
