the website does not have the option of ing my vehicle, 2023 Newmar Canyon Star 3947. Im looking for a electronic brake controller. Can you assist me?

Hey Dennis! We do have your 2023 Newmar Canyon Star 3947 in our fitguide. However, without a custom wiring harness for a brake controller you're looking at a universal splice-in installation. As long as you have a 7-way, you can install any brake controller in your motorhome.
The Redarc Tow-Pro # RED44FR you were looking at is one of the best options available. It is simple, reliable, and won't take up space in the cab. The knob mounts anywhere in the dash, and controls the braking power while also acting as the manual override. See the attached photo. This comes with the universal wiring harness for installation as well.

Thank you Robin but unfortunately I was unable to find, what was supposedly a bundle of the existing pre-wires under the dash for the towing harness. Either it is not there or they are so bundled up with everything else I couldn't see them and I wasn't about to try and unravel it all and then have to sort it all out. So I opted for the Curt wireless controller which is simple to use. Also I'm pulling an 18' aluminum car trailer with a 2013 Toyota Highlander.

My brother in law, who was raised in his dad’s trailer shop, and now trailers all over the country, recommended it to me I tow a Cricket with a 4 Runner. It has always worked perfectly. It recently helped me avoid a disaster on a dirt road. Blind turn, other car speeding, me on the downhill. Took a bit of sliding, break action and maneuvering, but we didn't head on! Young and dumb driver.. they’re out there!
