Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this active controls, active start plugin, soft start for your RV. Now this is going to give you 50 amp soft start protection for your entire RV without any difficult insulation. You're gonna be able to start multiple air conditioners without a bulky generator and soften the start noises from appliances and pumps. That's in turn going to make your RV evenings more peaceful and efficient.
So you're gonna be able to run your entire rig's 50 amp system without needing a bigger generator. So you're gonna be able to make every watt count. This does feature dual soft start circuits. Two independent circuits cover both legs of a 50 amp power cord. And this is gonna be very simple to install.
You're just gonna plug this into the shore power pedestal for a quick and easy setup. You can see it's got a good grip on there as well. And on this plug, we do have some status lights there. Hopefully you can see those lights there. And then this does come with a label here helping you decode what the lights mean.
This also includes a 15 to 50 amp dog bone that's gonna let you plug into any residential outlet. Bonding plug is needed for use on some generators for hassle-free power. So you're gonna get everything that you see here. And if you notice, we do have this cover here that's spring loaded. So that's going to, I think, do a pretty good job of covering up that outlet when this is not in use.
So that's a nice addition. And then another feature is you're gonna be able to monitor your system easily with a free app for your smartphone. That's gonna give you detailed data. And so there's QR codes here. Depending on which smartphone you have, you'll just scan the appropriate QR code and then you'll be able to, again, freely download that app so you can monitor what's going on with this system. So again, this is gonna be a very easy install. It includes everything that you see here. You got a quick start guide and instructions as well to make sure you're using this as intended. In case you we inchesre wondering, let me put a tape measure up to it real quick. I'm gonna turn this upside down, actually. Might gimme some better measurements. Looking at the overall length, just a simple end-to-end measurement, we're sitting pretty close to 19 inches long. And then the unit itself, looking at the width, I'm gonna say right at about five and seven eighth inches wide and about a little under a foot long, just the unit itself. And then in regards to how deep it is or how thick, maybe about close to three and a half inches. So hopefully those measurements are helpful for you. The instructions should be more in detail for the settings. I had to call Thomas the technician to help me with the set up, once he walked me the the procedure it worked well, I was able to rum both of 15000 but ac and the refrigerator wit a 4650 watt portable inverter generator ran at 75 percent capacity. I would highly recommend so far, but I haven't ran it for a long period of time. I will be able to let you know more about it about the middle of August.
