Question:

Hey, looking for help on extensions for tire valve stems going a Dually RV. Existing valve stems are rubber. Need both straight extensions and possibly 45 or 90°. Thanks!

Hey Danny,

If you're needing valve extensions for your dually trailer tires, we've got a few different options for you. I do recommend using the Wheel Masters brand valve extensions because they confirmed that these will work with the rubber valve stems. They do recommend using the Wheel Masters Support brackets for Rubber Valve Stems part # WM8029VS in addition to the extension to support the rubber stem since they can be flimsy.

A 45-degree bend valve extender like the # WM8029 is usually the best option for the outer wheel on a dually set up. To reach the back rear wheel, we also have the Wheel Master 4-Hose Inflation Kit with 135-degree bend part # WM8001-135 that will relocate the inner tire's valve stem to the outer wheel and extends the valve stem on the outer tire.

For the front wheels, you can use any of the options below depending on how much bend you want.

I have a Thor Chateau 22e and replaced the valve extenders with the Wheel Masters 2” straight and 45 deg ones. They’ve worked well and have no trouble for the past 2 years. Easy to install and excellent quality. Highly recommend!

I have a 2022 Forester MBS 2401 Class C motor hime. Definitely, these Wheel Master tire valve extensions work very well and save me time. Easy to install, airflow is seamless and they don’t leak. I had to use both straight and angled extensions. Hope this helps.
