Question:

Does the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 Part Number: C67MJ fit both a 2022 Ford Escape PHEV and a 2025 Ford Escape PHEV? I have the 2025 model, and my friend has the 2022 model, and we were going to order the hitches and then help each other install them.

They sure do Dennis. The Curt Hitch item # C67MJ does indeed fit both the 2022 and 2025 Ford Escape PHEV. This is a custom fit class III hitch that has a 2" receiver, a 2,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 200 lbs maximum tongue weight.

I will primarily be using it for a bike rack. Maybe a kayak trailer in the future. How long does it take to ship? I will be out of town until 6/10/26, but would like to install it soon after that.

@DennisS I installed the hitch in about an hour. All bolt holes lined up perfectly, no drilling needed. We have been using this hitch for more than a year to carry two e-bikes. I have also used it a few times to carry 35 gallons of gasoline on a platform to our boat. We have NOT used it with a trailer yet, but as long as you stay within the towing capacity of your vehicle I believe it will work fine.

@DennisS It'll definitely work great for a bike rack! We've got plenty of the Curt item # C67MJ hitches in stock so depending on where you're located a few days but definitely within a week. Given the lack of shipping during the holiday weekend, if you ordered it today it would get there by the end of next week or beginning of the following.

I installed this hitch on my 2024 Lincoln Corsair Hybrid plug in. One of the easiest hitches I've ever installed. Very straight forward and simple. The hardest part was the trailer wire harness. They don't make a plug and play harness, so you have to tap into your factory harness, which was a pain in the butt. The hardest part was finding the corrects wires to tap into. If your only going to use your hitch for a bicycle carrier, then you wont need the harness. P.S. This is a great company to deal with. I've bought lots of products from them over the years. Their products are good and their prices are great. They also ship very fast!
