I wasn't sure this would fit my 2023 Escape Hybrid, there was nothing on the original sticker that said it had the factory tow package. but after your description of where the factory plug was located under the left side of the rear bumper, I went out and looked, there was the plug! I went ahead and ordered it. I received it 3 days later, plugged it in, and it works perfectly! Thank you!
Installation consisted of plugging it in and routing the wire.
