Updated 05/20/2026 | Published 05/18/2026

Question:

I have a travel trailer. Recently installed a Lippert 2inch Accessory Receiver Hitch Up To 66inch Frames 2023027644. Trying to understand what bile racks I can use to carry 2 electric bikes.

Hey Tony, you would need to go with an E-bike rack that is rated for the rougher ride quality at the rear of RVs like what you have like with the Lets Go Aero part # LGA25VR . What e-bikes do you have?

My concern is that when I look at that product in the description it say no for travel trailers. Can you clarify? @JamesonC

@TonyZ I Loved my Hollywood rack on my 5th wheel as it was of the few that was certified for 5th wheels. I have since downgraded to a smaller travel trailer and notice my Hollywood was not certified for travel trailers. After confirming with the factory, I sold my rack and purchased a Swagman E-Spec RV & e-bike rack that was certified for travel trailers.

I highly recommend the RV rider by Hollywood Racks! It’s a very heavy and solid rack. It is RV approved and E bike approved. I think up to 80 pounds each bike. The build quality is great. It’s very solid. I’ve had mine for about three years and if I needed another one, I would get the same one.

Heavy duty rack that supported our e-bikes. Used on a front mounted receiver hitch on the front of our RAM 3500. Very pleased with the rack.

The Hollywood RV Rider bike rack is very well built and capable of carrying two e-bikes, which we have mounted on a 2” receiver hitch of our fifth wheel trailer. The rack does not have a ramp included, and I have not found one that appears to be compatible with this rack. If lifting the heavier e-bikes is a challenge for you, you may want to consider a rack with a ramp. We used this specific rack traveling from Colorado to Arizona, 770 miles one way and our bikes never moved. Very well built and stable rack despite the bouncing on the rear of our trailer. I would recommend this specific rack for RV’s.
