Hey William, the Advent Air RV AC unit part # ACM135B that you referenced has a 76 decibel rating which is about the volume of a normal conversation. Are you looking for the quietest model possible? What are you replacing?

I purchased this unit last year and was able to install it with one other person setting it in place. Very easy and works amazing. Took hour and half start to finish.

I can’t speak to actual decibel ratings (no decibel meter available), but I can say that both of the Advent air conditioners I have installed are quieter than the older Dometic units they replaced. My unit has a racetrack ducting setup, so both units feed into the ducts rather than dumping cold air directly into the cabin, so this already minimizes the airflow noise. As to the sound of the units running, I’d say that these units are smoother and marginally quieter than the older units were, with less vibration and “rumbling.” Hth, Dave
