How Does Curt Spectrum Brake Controller Install on 2023 GMC Yukon XL

I have a 2023 GMC Yukon XL without factory installed trailer brakes and I’m trying to install Curt Spectrum but I can’t find the factory trailer brake control harness plug. The truck doesn’t have a parking brake pedal nor does it have the ribbed box described in previous posts. Please help!

Hey Bruce, do you have the brake controller install harness part # C51525 to install the Spectrum part # C36QV on your 2023 GMC Yukon XL? I attached an install video that shows where to find the correct place to plug the connector in. Right at the 57 second mark you'll see where to find it. You might also need to scroll down a bit to find the video link.

Don't do it mine worked great for year and then started draining the battery.. it's china junk so find a usa made .
