looking for a tow baseplate for 2024 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon with plastic bumper, in addition to the EZ wiring plug kit and a blue ox brake. I have a blue ox 10k pound tow bar Thanks Greg

Hey Greg, since you have a Blue Ox tow bar the correct base plate kit would be the Blue Ox part # BLU53FR. Since you said you wanted an EZ wiring lighting kit the Curt wiring harness part # C96JR would be what you want as this does not require any splicing into the vehicle wiring. Then for a Blue Ox braking kit we have the Patriot part # BLU37TR. How do you like the Blue Ox tow bar that you have?

No real issues with install . Template for cutting skid pad would be a help .Used for about 5k miles towing a 2025 Jeep Gladiator. Hook up is easy after a little learning curve . Would recommend

I purchased all the suggested items, however still need a way to keep the 12 volt power port on full time. Installation of the base plate wasn't as smooth as I'd like. With the Rubicon Gladiator and the steel skid plate. The directions said to use existing bolts in bottom skid plate mount set up. These bolts had inserts that are easily stripped when torqued to specs. I had to drill out insert and use a few of the provided bolts. Since these bolts appear weaker I also drilled out additional mounting holes. Lastly the bottom skid plate bracket fit the baseplate mount perfectly, however there was a gap between the baseplate and frame for the 1/Inch bolt I had to shim with 2 which washers on each side. This is where the spacer plate would go if the skid plate mount wasn't in place. Overall the install wasn't too bad but with rain it took me 2 days to complete. Also the safety cable could not go around the frame, My Gladiator has the sway bar disconnect system mounted and the cable would have rubbed on either wires or piping. Luckily there was holes in the frame where I was able to use 1/2 inch bolts and large washers on the cables eyelets.
