Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller and 7-Way in 2008 Nissan Frontier

2008 Nissan Frontier.. I installed an Etrailer hitch and 4 wire wiring harness several years ago. I want to install a 7 pin rv connector and brake controller for a small trailer. Will this work for the application and/or which brake controller will work with this set up? Also, does this come with instructions? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Steve

Hey Steve, you are on the right track but instead of the # RD58SR you'd want the part # 118266 instead as this kit completes a 7-way in your 2008 Nissan Frontier while using the factory wiring for a much easier install without any splicing.

Then for a brake controller the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED53CR would be what you'd want. This also installs really easily with the included brake controller harness but it only puts a small knob on your dash as well.
