Question:

Hi, I just installed a truck cap with a high mounted brake light on the rear on my 2022 Nissan Frontier and Im wondering if you have anything that can help me connect it to my 4 pin trailer plug located at the trailer hitch?

Welcome back Anthony! To connect your topper's brake light to your Nissan's 4-way connector, you'll need the 3rd Brake Light Logic Module item # PP20-702 and the Curt Wiring Harness item # C97NR.

The item # PP20-702 module is going to filter out the turn signals so only the brake light will come on on the truck cap. You'll be able to plug the item # C97NR directly into your Nissan's 4-way connector.

I attached a diagram below that shows what wires go where. You'll connect the yellow and green wires on the item # C97NR to the yellow wires on the item # PP20-702. It doesn't matter which yellow wires. The green wire on the item # PP20-702 goes to your topper's brake light power wire.

What do you plan on using your truck bed for now that you've installed a topper?
