I have a 2010 Ford Ranger to which Ive added a leer camper shell with a third brake light. What do I need to correctly wire this. The Ranger has combined brake tell and stop on a single bulb.

The 3rd Brake Light Logic Module part # PP20-702 is what we recommend and use when powering the third brake light on a camper shell as it's designed for this exact purpose. There are two input wires (both yellow) in which you'll attach the stop/turn signal wires to, then one output wire which separates the stop/turn signals from the input sending just the stop signal to the third brake light. It's very simple and easy to install.

Please note, you'll need to splice the wires from the module into the wires at the back of the tail lights. We don't know which color wire has which function so you'll need to test with a circuit tester first.
