hello, i have a 2016 Colorado it says in the description it will fit my truck however the video review says that it is only gm years up to 2000. Im having trouble finding the right connector. the truck does not have a factory hitch i installed it and now need the wiring kit.

Hey Dalton! The TowSmart T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # TS52SR fits the 2004 to current Colorado. However, this is designed for trucks that have a factory 7-way.
If you don't already have a connector, check to see if there is a factory plug that matches the plugs in the picture below behind your rear bumper for installation. If you don't have any kind of factory connector, the only option is a universal wiring harness like the Curt # C59496.
What are you towing with your Colorado? Do you need a 7-way as well?
