Will Draw-Tite Hitch Fit 2025 Ford Bronco

Question:

Any idea why this isnt compatible with a 2025 Ford Bronco non-Raptor? Id prefer this over the Curt model because of the higher load rating.

Hi Derek! The Draw-Tite # DT47YR has not yet been confirmed to fit by Draw-Tite which is why we have it listed that way. It probably will fit since it works with the 2021-2024 models but I can't guarantee it.

One way or another, I would get the TowSmart Trailer Hitch Receiver # TS46VR instead. This has the same 4,500 lb max gross trailer weight rating and 675 lb max tongue weight rating as the Draw-Tite. It also has an extra long receiver to help clear the spare tire on the rear which is usually an issue on the Bronco. If that isn't a concern, and you would rather have the built-in mounting bracket for wiring, the # BLU95UR is another option with the higher capacity.

Do you plan on towing? If you do, you will also need wiring and a ball mount. If you have LED tail lights use the Curt # C42WR and for incandescent lights # C87BR. Both will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. For a ball mount, check out the etrailer # e66PR. It comes with a 2" and 2-5/16" ball and is adjustable with a max 6" rise/drop. This is great to have so you can keep your setup level no matter what trailer you're towing.

Thank you Robin for the suggestions. I plan to do little, if any, towing but I'd like to have the option just in case. Mostly I'll be carrying a bike rack or cargo carrier. I'm hesitant to get the extra long receive because I know that I'll inevitably split my shin on it.

@Derek your shins might thank you but if you can't get the bike rack on there with the shorter receiver you won't be happy either. The Blue Ox is a nice middle ground since it is a little longer than the standard but not super long. You can measure to see if it will work with your bike rack. Once installed, it will be 7" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the rear edge of the spare. Compare that to your bike rack to see if you will be able to clear.

@RobinH I've got the Malone Hanger 4 Bike Rack (MPG2124) which I don't think will clear the spare tire. I was considering using a hitch extender like C45791 to get around that issue. The most weight I'd ever carry is 120lbs on the bike rack.

@Derek the # C45791 will work. You're going to reduce the capacity of the hitch but not so much you can't handle 120 lbs. Just make sure you pull it out when you aren't using it so you don't end up on the ground with a busted shin despite having a shorter receiver.
