Hey Luis. Since your 2008 Ford Escape doesn't have the tow package, you'll need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C56329. This wiring harness includes custom fit connectors that will plug directly into the wiring behind your Escape's tail lights. It will provide you with a 4-flat connector.
The Curt item # C56329 does not require any additional relays to be installed. It includes the necessary fuse you'll need to power the harness after you get it installed.
I've linked an installation video below so you can see how to get it setup.
Are you towing a trailer or wanting to add lights to a bike rack or cargo carrier?

I installed the kit in about 30 mins! Super easy and ran a power wire up to the battery with an inline fuse! All those wire look czy but it’s plug and plat other then the power wire that follows the fuel line up to the battery and you tie wrap it and your done! It pays to have a good wire stripper with a crimper!
