Question:
Hi, Whats the quickest and easiest wire harness to install on a 2010 Ford Escape w/o the factory trailer package. Is there a connector so I can avoid running a wire to the battery? thanks

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56329 that you referenced would be the correct wiring harness for you to use on your 2010 Ford Escape. The reason you have to run a wire up to the battery is to prevent amperage draw on your vehicles delicate tail light circuitry. If you were to attempt to install a wiring harness that does not draw from the battery you would most likely overload the tail light circuitry of your vehicle and possibly damage it.
Running the power wire up to the battery is not too difficult. I attached an FAQ article on this subject for you to check out so you can get an idea.
I also attached installation instructions and an installation video for you to check out also.
