Hello, Wanted to see if the etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes - Self-Adjusting - 10 - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 3.5K Part Number: AKEBRK-35-SA Would work on a 2014 Forrest River Wildwood model 27RKSS

Hi Shane! Yes, the etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes - 10" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA will fit your 2014 Forest River Wildwood 27RKSS. These are designed to fit 3,500 lb axles with a 4-bolt brake flange and that is what you have on your trailer. If you need replacement hardware as well you can use # BRKH10B.
Where are you headed next with the Wildwood once you get your brakes replaced?

Shane I agree with SeaDog’s comments. I put this product on two trailers I own and have had no issues for almost 3 years now. I have brakes on all four wheels which makes stopping heavy loads a breeze. Easy to install, easy to do initial emergency brake adjustment, and worth every penny.

Shane my advise is do not try to go cheap I did that on a trailer conversion to electric brakes, drums were manufactured china junk the brakes were poorly made and did not work . My advice is to also replace the drums with Dexter drums. Bottom line after installing the china junk and fighting with the supplier to get my money back I got the electric brake kit and Dexter hubs from Etrailer everything fit and works as it should. I converted a SXS 2 wheel trailer to electric brakes.
