This Kenda Karrier ST205/75R15 radial tire and wheel setup is made to handle serious hauling. The tire’s 8-ply rating supports up to 2,150 lbs at 65 psi, and its M speed rating (81 mph) means it stays stable at highway speeds. Double steel belts and full nylon plies keep it tough under load, while the radial construction reduces heat buildup for longer tread life on long trips.
The 15" x 5" steel wheel features a pebbled black modular design protected by zinc, e-coat, and powder coat layers. That triple finish guards against rust and oxidation, keeping the wheel looking sharp and strong even after repeated exposure to wet or humid conditions. It’s the kind of build you can count on season after season.
Radial construction keeps the cords running at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel, helping reduce rolling resistance and heat buildup compared to bias tires. The result is a smoother, more stable ride with improved traction in wet or dry conditions—exactly what you want when towing at steady speeds over long distances.
This tire and wheel come paired and ready to mount with no guesswork. The assembly meets Department of Transportation specifications and uses a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern with a 3.19" pilot diameter, 0 offset, and wheel bolt size of 1/2"-20. The wheel is rated for 2,200 lbs, giving you balanced capacity across both components for dependable service life.
For the first 12 months of use, any damage to the tire is covered with a replacement at no charge. Add that to Kenda’s 5-year tire warranty and limited 2-year wheel warranty, and you’ve got a setup built—and backed—for serious use.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello again, Steven with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this Kendra Karrier, 205 75 R15 radial tire, that's 15 inches. It does have a lug pattern of five on 4.5 inch. Now this particular tire wheel assembly is ideal for your stock trailers, utility trailers, campers. The rim is a nice, superior oxidated, protected, zinc E-coat finish and powder coat. It does have a nice texture on there, let me zoom in here.
So, I'm hoping you can see that texture finish as I spin around, there's your tread. But back to that finish here, it's kinda hard to see maybe, maybe you can see a little good. It's got a nice texture to it, kinda like those spray-on bed liners in the truck bed, something like that. Something different I haven't seen, and it's a really nice durable finish. The pilot hole here, so inside here is 3.19 inches.
This is, again, that's considered a five lug. So you got five lugs, one, two, three, four, five, on a 4.5 inch lug pattern. So the way that they do that is, you simply take any lug hole, let's say this one. You measure diagonally across to the center of another one. So again, odd number straight across in between those two.
In this case, from here to there is 4.5 inches, so it's a five on 4.5-inch lug pattern. It does have a modular design, and by that I mean all these little holes in the wheel itself, that's what they call modular design. The tires rate it for a load range D. The ply rating is eight. Has a maximum load of 2150 pounds at 65 PSI.
It does have a maximum speed rating of 81 miles per hour. And it does have a five-year warranty on the tire itself, and limited two-year warranty on the wheel or the rim itself. Well, I hope that helps you, I hope this gives you a nice good look at the Kenda Karrier 205 75 R15 radial tire, with this black finish, I'm Steven with etrailer.com. Safe travels.

We have sold a lot of these and this is the first time I have heard a complaint about them. Especially one this serious. I will say that a tire forming an oval shape is typically due to internal structural damage, often caused by severe impacts from potholes, curbs, or road debris. This breaks internal cords and allows air to leak and/or form a bulge, like you are seeing. Are you travelling rough roads, by chance? And also, what psi are you running them at?
