All 3 cameras showing a blue screen. Im assuming my multiplexer b I x is bad. Your thoughts?

Hello Randy,
If all three cameras went blue at the same time, I wouldn’t jump straight to assuming the # RVS-501N multiplexer is bad. Since that box is just switching between the cameras and sending a single video feed to the monitor, a full loss across every channel usually points to something shared rather than three individual failures.
The first thing I’d be looking at is power and ground to the multiplexer. If it lost power or has a bad ground, you can lose all camera feeds at once. After that, I’d check the video output side going to the monitor. If that connection is loose or damaged, the monitor can show a blue screen across every input even if the multiplexer is still working.
Another big one is the main harness and connectors. Those multi-pin “aviation-style” plugs have to be fully seated, and it doesn’t take much for one to back out just enough to kill signal across the board. I’ve seen that cause this exact issue before.
If all that checks out, good power, solid ground, tight connections, then I’d start suspecting the multiplexer itself. A good test at that point is to bypass it and plug a known-good camera directly into a monitor if you have a way to do that. If the camera works, that points back to the mux. If it doesn’t, the problem is somewhere else in the system.
