Question:

2017 forest river sun seeker 2400 mbs My rear view monitor will no longer turn on. How do I know if the problem is the multiplexer or the monitor? There is 12 volt power on the red wire going to the multiplexer and there is 12 volts on two of the pins that go to the monitor. Can you help me to know which item to replace. If I choose the wrong one am I able to return it?

Hey Steven,

If you're seeing power on the wire harness for the monitor but it's still not powering on then you would it's most likely the monitor, especially if you're seeing 12 volts. If you were seeing something lower or no voltage that's when I'd say the multiplexer harness is the issue. If you are replacing an older system that includes a multiplexer RVS-501N, you must replace the monitor cable and multiplexer with the power harness included inside the box with the Replacement Monitor # RVS-619N.

All items are returnable but you'll typically have to pay return shipping charges, unless it's an error on our part.

@StevenS Yeah, if you have that older model you'll just swap out the equipment with what's included with the # RVS-619N.
