Replacement Multiplexer for Rear View Safety Camera System

Question:

I have a 2019 Forest River motorhome that appears to have a broken multiplexer. When I go into reverse the head unit is not triggered to display my back up camera. When I use my turn signals they also do not trigger my display for the blind spot cameras. The only way to get an image to appear is to manually go into the camera settings on my head unit and the backup camera. I have no option to a blind spot camera for the turn signals in the settings. Do you think this is an issue with the multiplexer and if so what model should I get? The cameras would be triggered and could be seen on the head unit when I initially bought the motorhome. Yes; what you're describing does sound like the issue most likely stems from the multiplexer potentially shorting out. It looks like you've got a Rear View Safety system and will need the Rear View Safety Multiplexer Box - 3 Channel # RVS-501N to replace your old multiplexer.
