Use this kit to replace the long and short ratcheting hooks - or grip arms - of your Swagman XTC or XC Series bike rack. The kit includes 1 long arm (bottom) and 1 short arm (top) for the upright bar of your bike rack.

the black rubber was discolored didn't look as good as the one I have, but it will do the same job as the one I have

Dont leave them on the rack hanging after taking your bike off and drive off. DOH!
The only problem I had with the product is I only needed the shorter of the two hooks but I had to order the set to get it. But on the other hand, I have a replacement if I loose another hook.
Swagman makes great products. Very sturdy, reasonable weight and bikes are secure in their mounts.
Somehow lost one of the Swagman frame hooks.....yo must have these to use the rack. It is nice to buy parts, not another whole bike rack. This is the strongest rack I have seen to carry behind a 5 th wheel trailer.

The only reason I needed replacemenet parts was that I misplaced one of my bike hooks. This bike carrier is everything I expected.

I have learned my lesson not to go through a car wash with my bike rack on ....:( (at least i was able to replace the damaged part and not have to buy the entire rack!)
I needed 2 long hooks to allow proper loading of my bicycles. This makes my bike rack work perfectly. Etrailer is a great resource for all towing needs!
Worked like a charm…I welded brackets to the frame. Very easy. They hold the e-bikes in place on the road!!!

This product is perfect for carrying long wheelbase recumbent bicycles. Very easy to use. Wouldn't mind having a higher weight rating.

Looks like the rack's working pretty well for you! You'll want to ensure that bike's wheelbase isn't greater than 66 inches (measured axle bolt to axle bolt).
I made the mistake of buying a bike rack from amazon and the hooks had to be screwed down which didn't work well and they bumped into each other only allowing 1 bike to be locked down. The Ratcheting Hook Set for Swagman XTC and XC and Upright Ratcheting Bar for Swagman XTC2 Bike Carrier were the prefect fix. They lock my bikes down securely and make getting the bikes on and off easy and fast. They came at a very good price as well.
I was looking for steel replacement hooks for my Kac rack and these are perfect! Super fast and affordable shipping from etrailer!

All I ordered were replacement hooks for my Swagman cycle rack. (I forgot to bring my hooks from home to Florida.)
Swagman makes a great product and their replacement parts are also great.
...but etrailer is the star. Great people to deal with. They had the parts in stock and they processed and delivered them promptly. They also were the low bidder for these parts. My hat is off to them for a good job running their business with customer satisfaction as a main target.

Still working as advertised.
Much nicer than the originals. The rubber hook protectors seem more substantial and the ratcheting action is smoother. I wish I hadn’t lost the one that triggered the need for replacements but all said and done all is well.
My hooks went missing and so glad I found exact replacements versus purchasing an entire new rack. Fit is perfect, order filled and shipped promptly, delivery was earlier than expected, in other words a perfect shopping experience!

I haul my bike once or twice a week and the hooks continue to cinch like new. A year later, stand by my 5 star rating.
Great quality, so happy they were black and matched my bike rack.
the parts were exactly as described. They were on backorder and not received for over a month however I was updated and assured my order would be delivered when available many times during the wait.

Great service on replacement item
My name is not David. Order was placed by Kathleen Imhoff. I do not see why this item has to be shipped as a pair. Each ratcheting hook should be an
individual item. Cost me me twice the price. Shipping charges seem too high also.
Excellent parts for an older bike trailer. Great communication on order status.
