Question:

I am looking to mount a camera on my 2021 sprinter van so i can have full view all the time out the rear of my vehicle. the MB camera only works when in reverse. I would also like to mount a camera on the back of my motorcycle trailer. 1. Is there a product code or kit number that will include the two cameras and 7in monitor? 2. will the monitor provide a split screen showing a view from the rear of the sprinter and the rear of the trailer? 3. can i take the monitor out of the sprinter and put it in my truck when pulling the trainer allowing the camera on the trailer to be used on any vehicle towing it?

Hey Phil, while we don't have a single part number that includes two rear cameras and a 7 inch monitor what you would need is the part # FR57AD plus an additional rear camera part # FR24AD. You can have the monitor setup to show the two camera views simultaneously if you like. You can also have the monitor in any vehicle and if the cameras are in range it will all work.

Hi Phil, If you Hardwire the Camera lead(red wire) directly to 12volts or your running lights, the Camera will work all the time when you have your running lights on. My camera is mounted on the back of my snowmobile trailer which is 8 1/2 feet wide 9 feet tall, and 16 feet long! The camera works great as long as the lens is clean! When the roads get snow covered with sand and salt, the lens gets dirty and obviously the view is distorted or literally blocked! I am going to install a clear view system on my trailer this summer so I can basically use my windshield washer fluid to clean my camera when I drive. The 7 inch monitor works great and you can have a single, split screen, or even a quad screen if you add 4 cameras on one vehicle! The picture you see whether parking or driving is great as you will know when someone is behind you especially while parking with no co-pilot! I definitely reccomend this product!

I purchased the single camera system for my Reflection 297RSTS Plugged into the existing wiring harness, used the 4 screws to mount using existing holes. Works great very impressive. Will definitely recommend Randy

1. No... but you can use Jameson's links and set up your own system. The monitor allows you to add up to 3 extra cameras. 2. Yes, once properly installed. 3. Yes, again. As long as there is a power supply available.
