Today we're going to take a look at the replacement idler head front cover for the Solara awnings. Now, this part will replace the black regal style front cover on your Solara awning idler head. It's durable, very easy to install. It's made from a sturdy plastic to protect the idler head from the elements, and you can see it has a nice high gloss, black finish to it. It requires no assembly.Now, the mounting hardware to install this is not included. The last thing I want to give you is some dimensions on this.
So the . Let's measure it this way. The length on it from one end to the other is going to be right at nine inches. The widest point, which will be right up here, is going to be right at four and half inches wide and depth on it, going to be right at three and half inches deep.But that should do it, for the review on the replacement idler head front cover for Solara awnings.
Cover is exactly what I needed. Not sure where the original cover fell off, but this is a perfect match. There is some confusion on the listing in regard to the Replacement Head Cover Fastener for Solera Manual Awnings, Part Number: LC266156.

I accidentally scrapped my awning along the edge of the door to my shop and cracked the cover of the awning motor and idler covers on my 2025 Flagstaff 21FBRS. These fit perfectly. Remove the four screws on the old and reinstall them. Thankfully I had not lost the screws. I would have preferred it if it came with new screws.

I wish I had a spare in the camper when this happened. I could have repaired it on the spot. For the price I will probably add one to my tool box for peace of mind.

The description was a little tricky, as it said it was for the "front". There are two front covers on the awning. One is to the left, or towards the front of the motor home and one at the back of the motor home. The item arrived as pictured and fit just fine.
This is the right replacement for my 2023 Grand Design Imagine AIM. The only reason for 4 stars is that it doesn't come with any screws, which were lost or maybe never there in the first place, leading to these front covers falling off. It's hard to find the right size screws when it doesn't come with the covers.

Cade was very helpful and took the time to make sure that I got the right part. It fit perfectly. The video was also helpful showing the dimensions of the part. Very pleased with the experience !

Part was an exact fit. Snapped into place and looked like it was original. The only downside was that there were no screws included to attach the front side to the back side. I had to take a screw out of the front cover of the other end of the awning to determine what type of screw was intended to be used to hold them together.

This is not the right part, I will need to do further research so I can get the right part

This was a perfect replacement for the broken awning idler end front cover for my Lippert Solera awning.
the part did no come with the mounting screws. you would think that for the price they could include a couple of 18 cents screws.
We accidentally damaged our cover on our rockwood . We were happy to see that etrailer sold the replacement. It fit great , look original. Would order it again, but hope I don’t have too.

Etrailer did a great job of getting the product to me, but the product is a mystery. I replaced one and added loctite and even used some duct tape and still lost it again. Wish it came with the hardware. Would love to know if anyone else lost a cover and why?
