Could Curt No-Drill Trailer Wiring Mounting Bracket # C57202 Be Used on Round Tube Hitch
Updated 02/26/2026 | Published 02/25/2026 >
Question:
2018 grand cherokee with a curt hidden hitch with round tube. I am looking for a way to mount a 7way connector without drilling and all that nonsense. Would this bracket work with round tube hitch? Id prefer to stay away from the bracket that mounts to the square tube and passes over the safety chain. I could see that getting banged up pretty good. Thank you for your assistance

Hey Ken, the Curt no drill bracket part # C57202 wasn't intended to be used on round tube hitches like what you have but that doesn't mean it couldn't use it on a round hitch tube. You'd just need to get it super tight so that the friction of the strap holds it tight enough that it won't swing down. You could probably run a second strap on it to hold it tighter as well.
