Question:

I have a 2025 winnebago vista 33k on a ford f53. manual says 5000lbs tow capacity 500lb tongue weight. it says 4 inch max drop hitch. receiver measures 24 1/2 inches. base plate on 2016 chevy equinox measures 12 1/2 inches. what can I do?

Hey Michael! That restriction would be for a ball mount towing a trailer with tongue weight. It is different when you're flat towing your 2016 Chevrolet Equinox. You want to be within 3" of level so you can use the Roadmaster High-Low Adapter - 2" Hitches - 10-1/4" Rise/Drop # RM-048-10 with that setup.

Where are you headed first once you get the Equinox all set up?

Thanks Robin. That is what I was hopping to hear. I have everything else set up to tow. I just changed rv and the hitch is a lot higher. Thanks for the part number, I will get it ordered. We are Fl. Now, but back to Ohio in Apri.
