Are 5 Bolt Wheel Patterns Typically All The Same

Question:

Im picking up a boat/trailer this weekend. Tire is 215/75r15. Its a five-bolt pattern but image sent by seller isnt clear on bolt pattern size. Are they all pretty much the same bolt pattern size? I have Strider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15 Revolver Black Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR D in my cart - will that work? Or too hard to say? thank you

Hey Bob! Almost all of the 5-bolt wheel patterns are 5 on 4-1/2 just like what is on the Strider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Revolver Black Mod Wheel # TA77AR. Odds are incredibly high this is what they have on the boat trailer. However, you can't be 100% sure it isn't 5 on 5-1/2 from a picture.

Have you tried asking the current owner? I would double check with them to be sure, especially if it isn't a newer standard trailer.
