Will Curt Wiring Harness C56190KIT Fit 2025 BMW X5 And Will I Need To Have Any Coding Done?

Question:
For a 2025 BMW X5, is this the right wiring kit? And, if so, if pulling a trailer, will I need to have any coding done? And, if yes, do you have a source or ability to do that coding?

Hello David, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Curt # C56190KIT will indeed fit your 2025 BMX X5. This installs separate from the vehicles computer, so no dealership coding will be required. You may need to manually deactivate the backup sensor with the trailer hooked up, but that is really the only consideration.

The wiring kit for BMW X5 was easy with instructions and video assistance. Won't buy towing parts from anyone but etrailer.
