Which Hitch is Better for a 2021 BMW X5 xdrive40i? Stealth Hitch or Oris?

This hitch looks to do everything that the Stealth for $967 does at a lower cost. What am I missing? I see I would have to add $88 for wiring but I still save $450. 2021 BMW X5 non M

Hey Tom. You're not missing anything the Oris Trailer Hitch item # TS86VR is comparable in function and quality to the Stealth Hitches item # SH92TR that fits your 2021 BMW X5 xdrive40i.
Oris is a German company so their item # TS86VR is a high quality hitch. There's no corners being cut to make this a more affordable option. The cost savings over the Stealth Hitches item # SH92TR is due more to it being manufactured outside of the US and the lack of trailer wiring included.
Another nice perk of the Oris item # TS86VR is the detachable receiver can be used for both accessories and towing. You don't need to use separate attachments like the Stealth Hitches item # SH92TR.
We actually installed the Oris Hitch item # TS86VR on a 2025 BMW X5 xdrive40i recently. I linked the video we made below so you can see how to get this hitch installed.
The Curt item # C56190KIT is the correct wiring harness for your 2021 BMW X5 xdrive40i.
