You didn't buy your car to be a tow rig, you bought it because it looks good. But maybe your buddies call and want to hit the trails, or you've got a jet ski you want to haul to the lake for the weekend. Maybe you're out of room in your trunk or back seat and want a cargo carrier so you can finally bring the gear you haven't been able to haul before. This hitch gives you a way to bring that stuff without turning your car into something it's not.
The hitch body bolts to factory mounting points on your vehicle and stays hidden behind the bumper. Nothing sticks out and nothing changes the way your vehicle looks. When it's time to tow, just insert the receiver. When you're done, take it off and store it in your trunk or garage. It's that simple.
The receiver slides in vertically and locks with a firm click so you'll know it's secure. When you're done towing, unlock it with the key and pull it out. There's no tools required and no loose hardware laying around. There's no sign the hitch is even there. And unlike other hitches with bulky chain loops built into the receiver, this one keeps the loops tucked up and out of sight. They're easy to reach when you're hooking up, and they're sized right so you can clip your chains straight on without messing with quick links. And don't forget to pop in the included protective plug to keep road grime out of the hitch body when your aren't using the receiver.

When I entered my vehicle information, I didn't see that I had more than one trailer hitch option. Bought the one recommend and the hitch sticks out past my bumper
The product works as advertised. The installation manual is not the best but there are enough video on YouTube to help or guide you through it. You will need to make minor cutout adjustment to the underside panel of your X7 bumper. The panel are precut but the opening need to be extended. It will not impact your bumper or original bumper look. Just the panel on the underside.
