Question:

Hi, I have a 2014 Heartland cyclone with a lippert LC341367 pin box. Is the LC158778 pinbox an adequte replacement. It looks like I could only put 2 bolts in front and 4 in back instead of the 3 bolts in front and 2 in back the way it is currently mounted.

Hey Mike, thanks for the pictures! I just spoke with Lippert and your 2014 Heartland Cyclone has a 1621HD pin box bolt pattern. The Curt Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box item # LC158778 you were looking at is exactly what you need.

The Curt Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box item # LC158778 fits both the 1621 and 1621HD bolt patterns. The 1621 only requires four bolts to be installed. The capacity is going to 21,000 lbs so you'll be good not installing the front top bolts. This is a great pin box, the internal airbag and a built-in oil shock absorber is going to cushion your ride by reducing chucking, jarring, and bouncing.

The center of the king pin sits 27-3/8" from the back mounting bolts and 19-1/2" from the front bolts on the Curt item # LC158778.

I installed one a couple months ago with the same pin box. I was able to fit 3 bolts front and back (originally had 3/2 in the old one). Very easy install, as I have a tractor with front loader, and fork lift attachment. It is heavy!

Great addition to our Wildwood Heritage Glen! Only issue is that the birds love building nests in it.....
