Hey Randy, thanks for the information. Do your 2021 Keystone Passport wheels have a 5 on 4-1/2" lug nut pattern or a 6 on 5-1/2 lug nut pattern?

You can add this information, along with any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

The Dexter 4,400 lbs axles use the same hubs as 3,500 lbs axles, which have item # L68149 inner and item # L44649 outer bearings. The issue with the DeeMaxx Disc Brake Hubs item # DE89YR are you have to jump down to 3,500 lbs setups which only have a 5 on 4-1/2" lug nut pattern. You'll need all new wheels and tires. This is the same if you go to Kodiak or Dexter disc brake systems.

The DeeMaxx Single Disc Brake Assembly item # DE29YR that has a 6 on 5-1/2 lug pattern is for 6000 lbs axles that use a Inner bearing item # 25580 and Outer bearing item # 15123. This is also the same if you go to Kodiak or Dexter disc brake systems.

You'll be able to use the DeeMaxx Alpha G1600 Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes item # DE47SR with either DeeMaxx disc brakes. You'll also need the DeeMaxx Hydraulic Brake Line Kit item # DE57SR.

Thanks for getting back to me. My Dexter 4400 axles have 6 lugs, I should have said that in my initial email. Im assuming I can't use a bigger axle conversion kit because nothing else you folks carry is compatible with the D4400 spindle/hub bearing dementions. I was hoping you guys would have something for the D44s. These are standard Keystone factory installs. Is upgrading my axles the only way to get a disc brake conversion kit? I don't mind getting larger wheels and tires but, Im not really interested in downgrading my 4400lb running gear with 3500lb axle parts? Please advise. Thanks Randy

@RandyL OK trying to write back to Jerred H. I reread your first response. Looks like what I have to do is get 5 lug wheels. But is the 3500lb axle 5 lug wheel breaking system tough enough for my 6420lb dry weight camper. Thoughts? Thanks Randy

@RandyL They definitely are Randy. This type of upgrade is done quite often. What size are your tires?

@RandyL You're welcome. You are correct on the spindle/hub size. Your axles won't be compatible with a 6 lug brake hub. If you're not wanting to go down to a 3,500 lbs disc brake setup then upgrading your axles would be the only option. If you could give me your hub face and spring seat measurements, I can see what options we have available. I linked an article below, showing you how to find these measurements.
