Hello Scott,

Happy to help and make sure we get you the correct replacement part.

Can you confirm which base plate you currently have? Your question was asked on the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit with Removable Arms # BX1708, but I do see in your order history that you purchased the etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit with Removable Arms # e86YR back in May.

If you are asking about the Blue Ox # BX1708, the correct replacement would be the Replacement Attachment Tabs for Blue Ox Base Plates, short front and long back, quantity 2 # BLU37XR. Blue Ox does not sell the ring by itself, so the full tab kit # BLU37XR is required to get that piece. Please refer to the attached image for reference.

If you do not have the Blue Ox base plate, just let me know. These parts are not only brand specific but also base plate specific, and the ring is not sold separately for other models either.

So what base plate are you asking about?

@KateF Thanks for getting that part number to me. We had that part on our site from 2014-2021, in 2021 it became no longer available per the manufacturer. You might be able to find someone out there with old stock their shelves, I did a quick Google search but did not have any success. If you are unable to locate them somewhere else, you will need to purchase the Replacement Attachment Tabs for Blue Ox Base Plates - Short Front/Long Back - Qty 2 # BLU37XR.
