Question:
I am looking for a set of 3 radial size 4.8Rx12 mounted on a 5 0n 4.5 galvanized rim Your web site shows a Taskmaster tire mounted on a 4-lug rim only. I do not see an option for that tire with a 5 on 4.5 rim. This is a saltwater application so I would prefer the galvanized rims. Tires are going on a Loderite 1200 trailer upgrading from bias-ply to radial thanks

Hey Joe. The only way to get a 4.80x12 radial tire on a galvanized rim with a 5 on 4-1/2 lug nut pattern is to purchase the wheel and tire separately. I have listed the parts you'll need below:
Taskmaster 4.80R12 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C item # TT48012C
Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel - 12" x 4" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized Finish item # AM20134
Americana Rubber, Snap-In Valve Stem - 1-1/4" Long - Up to 65 psi item # AM20903
What kind of boat do you have?

thanks Jarred. that suggestion is helpful. The boat is a 1987 Boston Whaler 15 center console. I’m transporting it from Mattituck NY to Florida and back hence the upgrade to radial tires for the long highway run. with a second set of rims, I can easily switch tires for local use. thanks for your help Joe
