Curt Trailer Wiring Harness that Fits 2022 Acura MDX Platinum Elite

Updated 12/15/2025 | Published 11/24/2025

Question:

Im looking for a T-Harness trailer hitch wiring for my 2022 Acura MDX Platinum Elite. I see your site brought me to the C53MJ as the proper connector. I went to double check on the CURT site to make sure it works and they dont have anything listed with that number. Is this the correct number?

Hey Darren, sorry for the confusion but our Curt trailer wiring harness part # C53MJ is the same as the Curt part number # 56547 which is a fit for your 2022 Acura MDX Platinum Elite. Do you have a hitch already?

Hey Darren, how did things go with the Curt wiring harness for your MDX? Did it end up fitting the way you needed? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same setup.

@JamesonC Yes I purchased the Curt T-Harness 56547 for my 2022 Acura MDX Platinum Elite. Installation was a breeze using the supplied instructions. Unfortunately the instructions are incomplete and following the instructions will result in a harness that does not work. The kit supplies 5 fuses, with one being too big to use in an MDX fuse box. The instructions only list 2 fuses to install, with one supplying the "trailer charge"; which I don't believe is even required on a 4 pin plug install. Curts instructions: 10A FUSE IN SLOT 15 - TRAILER HAZZARD LIGHT 20A FUSE IN SLOT 26 - TRAILER CHARGE Following these instructions T-Harness wasnt working The instructions should be updated to list as follows: 10A FUSE IN SLOT 13 - TRAILER BACK LIGHTS 10A FUSE IN SLOT 15 - TRAILER HAZZARD LIGHT 20A FUSE IN SLOT 21 - TRAILER SMALL LIGHTS I installed the fuses I listed and everything works now.
