Progressive Dynamics Converter Recommendation for 2 100 Amp Batteries
Updated 11/24/2025 | Published 11/23/2025 >
Question:
Hello, I am switching to two 100ah Lithium batteries in my RV and I would like to ask what size converter I will need. The RV runs on 30 amps, with 200 watts of solar. I will also be getting a DC-DC charger. My RV service tech said I need the Progressive Dynamics PD9360 but I see that this comes in different amps sizes. Thank you for your help!

Hey Christina, the Progressive Dynamics PD9360 is our part number # PD79RR and it is a 60 amp converter. The last two digits of the part number are the amp rating for these converters. A 60 amp converter would work well to keep two 100 amp hour batteries charged. This converter also has a lithium charging profile as well so it's compatible in that way as well. Do you have batteries picked out as well?

Thanks for the info! I do have the batteries already, but I need a DC-DC charger if you can recommend one. Thanks!
