Question:
What are the differences in the 2706 red label air bags and the 2598 standard air bags ? Are they the same thickness and diameter?Would the red label be overkill for a 2017 Ram 2500 sb srw cc?

Expert Reply:
The Red Label bags like the part # F2706 are much heavier duty than the standard duty bags like the # F2598 that you also mentioned. The pressure rating is 150 psi vs. 100 psi, the weight capacity is 7,500 vs. 5,000 lb, and overall they are just larger and made from thicker material.
If you are going to be at the extremes of your trucks weight capacity I would go with the Red Label for added peace of mind that the bags won't fail otherwise standard duty would work just fine.
