Can Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad Bike Rack # TH823PRO Be Used with E-Bikes

Question:
I havent been able to find this info on their website, but Ive heard that if you use any of the thule racks, or pads in this case, with an e-bike-it has to be an e-bike specific rack. This truck bed pad TH823PRO isnt listed as e-bike ready on their website. Im concerned it may not meet the standards of the warranty? Thanks.

Hey Steve, the Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad for Mid-Size Trucks # TH823PRO can be used with e-bikes. Unlike other styles of bike rack that support the weight of the bikes this is just a pad that allows the tailgate to support the weight of the bikes so it doesn't have that same fit exclusion/inclusion info for use with e-bikes that other racks styles do.
