Replacement Bearing Kit for Dexter 7,000 lbs Axles

Updated 12/01/2025 | Published 11/02/2025

Question:

Hello- I have a 2007 RandW 14k capacity trailer. There are two 7k capacity axles and I understand that they are dexter 7k capacity axles. There are no markings on the axles. I am looking to determine what bearing and race seal kit to buy. Is there any further help you can provide? Thanks,

Hey Ryan, thanks for the information. We have two different bearing kits for Dexter 7,000 lbs axles. Item # BK3-210 and item # BK3-200 which has a a slightly larger grease seal. The bearings and races are the same size in both kits. Each kit will replace one hubs bearings, races, and seals.

What you'll need to do is measure your spindle where the grease seal rides for it's inner diameter. That spot is labeled B on the diagram below. If it's 2.125" you need item # BK3-210. If it's 2.25" you will need item # BK3-200.

Hey Ryan, were you able to measure the spindle on your Dexter 7K axles to see which bearing kit matched? Knowing which size worked could really help others trying to replace their bearings and seals on similar trailers.
