Video Transcript for Review of etrailer Trailer Bearings Races Seals Caps - Bearing Kit - BK3-210

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this bearing kit for 7,000 pound axles that have the 2.125 inch spindles. Now, a 7,000 pound axles gonna come in two different application. It's gonna come in one with a 2.125 grease seal, or also with a 2.250 grease seal. The bearings will all be the same. It's the grease seal that's gonna be different.

Now the correct bearing kit for that 7,000 pound axle is gonna be determined by that inner diameter needed for your grease seal. This kit here is for the 7,000 pound axle that uses the 2.125 inch diameter grease seal. Now, if you do need the kit, that works on the larger 2.250 diameter grease seal axle, it is sold separately. It goes by part number of BK3-200. Now what's nice with a kit like this, there's no need to have to search for separate components.

All you need is this all-inclusive bearing kit. It will include everything laid out here on the table. Comes with one inner bearing and the bearing race that that bearing will sit in. Comes with a outer bearing and the bearing race for the outer bearing to sit in. Comes with the double lip grease seal we mentioned.

On this one, it's gonna be the 2.125 inch diameter grease seal, and that is stamped right here in the part number. And it is a double lip seal. If you feel the rubber seal, you can feel the two edges. Comes with the cotter pin and the EZ Lube spindle washer. Now if you do need the part number for all these parts, they are located on the product page of this part number.

And this assembly is designed to save you time and ensure that you's got everything you need for proper installation. This kit here is designed to work seamlessly with EZ Lube systems. It allows straightforward maintenance, reducing downtime, and keeping a trailer in top condition. And this bearing kit is a versatile solution, compatible with popular brands like Lippert and Dexter axles. But that's gonna do it for a look at the bearing kit for 7,000 pound axles with the 2.125 inch spindles.

The grease seal can vary, and will usually either be the # GS-2250DL, which has a 2.250 inch inner diameter and 3.376 outer diameter, or # GS2125DL with a 2.125 inch inner diameter and 3.376 inch outer diameter. If you remove your hub you can look for the bearing numbers stamped in the face of each bearing. If these are worn or missing you can measure the inner diameter of your bearings using a digital caliper like # PTW80157. See the diagram below. • Correct Replacement Bearings and Seals for Dexter 7,000 Lb Axle
The correct bearing and seal kit for your Dexter 7,000 lb axles is going to be either the Bearing Kit part # BK3-210 which has a 2.125" seal or the Bearing Kit part # BK3-200 which has a 2.250" seal. Unfortunately, this axle could have come with either seal so you will need to pull the hubs and read the seal part number or measure the spindle/seal to choose the correct replacement. The other option is to just get one bearing kit and order the other seal; 2.250" part # GS-2250DL or 2.125"...

  • How to Choose Correct Replacement Bearing Kit for a 7K Dexter Axle
There are 2 possible bearing kit options for your 7K Dexter Axles and it all depends on what grease seal inner diameter you need: - Bearing Kit # BK3-210 (2.125" ID) - Bearing Kit # BK3-200 (2.250" ID) Aside from that both kits have the same bearings so it really does boil down to the size of the grease seal. Just pull a hub and either measure the inner diameter of the grease seal or the diameter of the spindle where the seal rides and that will tell you which kit you need.

  • Looking For Bearing Kit For 2017 Jayco Northpoint With Lippert 7K Axles
Hello George. We will undoubtedly have a bearing kit for the 7K Lippert your 2017 Jayco North Point 5th wheel. That said, I do not have a way to tell you the exact seal size based on the info you provided. The best way to find this out will be to remove one of the hubs and measure the ID of the seal with a caliper. It seems like the 2.250 ID seals are a bit more common, but both sizes are out there. A lot of times what I recommend folks do is just get the bearing kit like part # TMK92VR...

  • Can a Lippert Axle be Replaced with a Dexter Axle?
We do have a straight Dexter axle that is very close to your Lippert one. The # 7461121 will be 95 inches from hub face to hub face and 80 inches from center of one spring seat to the center of the other. The branding of the axle typically doesn't make a difference as long as the measurements match or are very very close.

  • Which Bearing Kit Fits Dexter 7,000 lb Axle
Yes, the bearing kit part # BK3-210 does fit a good portion of the 7,000 lb Dexter axles out there, but some of the 7k Dexter axles require a slightly larger grease seal which instead requires the kit part # BK3-200. What you'll want to do is measure the spindle you have where the grease seal rides for it's outer diameter. If it's 2.125 inch you need the part # BK3-210. If instead it's 2.25 inch you'd need the part # BK3-200.
