Question:
I have a 2025 Chevy 2500HD. I want to install a front hitch so I can use my Thule T2 Pro XTR bike rack. I am looking at the Curt CN52NR or the EcoHitch EH57FR. I can not find on either of their websites the dimensional drawing. I am trying to make sure the hitch comes close enough to the front bumper to allow me to fold the rack in place. I measure from the pin hole and I would need at least 6 ½” clearance to the bumper for this to happen. Can you help me?

Hey Chris. They don't give out dimensional drawings for hitches and they don't provide the measurement you're looking for. We did install the Curt Front Mount Hitch item # C52NR on a 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500 and found that the hitch pin hole sits 5" behind the edge of the bumper. When we installed the EcoHitch item # EH57FR on a 2020 Silverado 2500 we found that the hitch pin hole sits quite a bit closer at 1-1/2" behind the edge of the bumper.
On a 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 the hitch pin hole was 7" behind the plate with the Curt Front Mount Hitch item # C52NR installed.
I recommend using the EcoHitch Front Hitch item # EH57FR on your 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 as it gives you the most clearance. I've attached a couple of pictures and installation videos below so you can see how far back the front hitches sit when installed.
I recommend verifying with Thule that their T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack like item # TH83JV is rated to be used on a front hitch. The instructions and their website only say to use it on a rear hitch. Please note that the closest part of this rack when folded up is 5" from the hitch pin hole and 7" when it's folded down.

Hey Chris, did the EcoHitch give you the clearance you needed for your Thule T2 Pro XTR on the front of your Silverado? It sounds like that setup should have worked best for folding the rack up. Sharing how it turned out could help others looking to do the same thing.
