Exactly what I needed took me about 45 mins to put on by myself. Only thing I haven my done is put the air dam back on it didn’t come with the template so got to figure the cut out but other than that it’s awesome. I love it because I can use my winch on the front or back now and I don’t have to keep my winch on the truck I can store it in my tool box out of sight

It worked great while I had the truck. I no longer have that truck so I’ll have to buy a new one or the steel brushguard. I’m still debating on which I want to go with
Ordered so I could stop putting my ladder inside my RV when towing to work areas. Install was simple. Slight hiccup with the first unit shipped but customer service fixed the issue fairly quickly.

It’s been carrying my wife and my bicycles on the front of my Ram 3500 Laramie on a trip to the National parks the trip will exceed 14000 miles without any issues. Love my hitch!!

Excellent produce, installation instructions were easy to follow. I needed the receiver to mount my spare tire rack.
Well built heavy duty Hitch. Easy to install. Just watch the video. I did not remove the transmission cooler shroud and was able to easily trim it to fit.

Easy install on my 24 RAM 2500. Works as I expected.
The hitch is a very nice hitch and I’m happy with it now that it is installed. However, on my 2024 ram 2500 diesel it required two side plate spacers on the driver side for the side plate to mount flush. The hitch only comes with two side plate spacers and a side plate. Spacer is needed for the passenger side. A total of three side plate spacers were needed to complete the install. I called E trailer, explained the issue and they said they would send me another spacer. The spacer never arrived. I called EcoHitch to get a spacer, the spacer never arrived. I resorted to fabricate my own spacer out of some aluminum plate I had laying around the shop. While I am happy with the hitch, it is disappointing that both Etrailer and Ecohitch have customer no service.
So far so good. Product received and currently sitting in my shop waiting for its installation.
Service thus far though has been excellent.
The front hitch on my 2025 Ram 3500 is SOLID construction and well engineered. The instructions for a visual learner (like me) were good .
This product fit my 2024 RAM 2500 Diesel with tow hooks perfectly.
I put the truck up on 8” blocks for access underneath.
I did the entire job by myself - but wasted a lot of time up and down from the creeper for parts and tools.
I took about 8hours but that time could be greatly reduced with 2 people.
All in all - great product & good video instructions make the job pretty easy. Just make sure you have 18, 19 & 24mm wrenches and the same size 1/2” sockets and good breaker bars.
My husband and I absolutely love the hitch. It has made extra storage for us to carry bikes or Kohler fishing rods. It is definitely worth the cost.

Still amazing!! Everything we expected it to be.
Overall it's a good heavy hitch, and it is relatively easy to install. It is very sturdy and heavy, and uses metal much thicker than the truck frame. If any frontal impact would happen, the frame will deform before any hitch damage. If you are looking to put a snow plow, keep that in mind. Major issue I have is the bolts provided, they are standard, while truck is build using metric bolts. EcoHitch, why? Also, there were missing couple of bolts, and I was able to reuse the factory bolts in place. Manufacturer should provide flange nuts, just like OEM, and not mess with washers and lock nuts. Also, there are many extra bolts left because they are intended for trucks with different options (like no tow hooks, etc). This is silly, and it drives up the cost of the kit, which is already very high. Finally, the license plate frame appears to be barely covering the mounting location, and made out of aluminum. Just make it the size of license plate, so it is fully supported. The triangle-size shims are also aluminum and much thinner than the metal it is trying to level up. Really? For a common HD truck this design should be much more refined. Are we using small aluminum pieces to save on weight? The hitch itself is approaching a 100# extra additional weight to the vehicle. I also am painting the nuts and bolts since their finish does not appear to stand up to our Northeast winters, should have used a galvanized hardware, like OEM.
The hitch itself is high quality. When it arrived the hardware bag was open. I was able to locate everything except for one washer and one of the plugs that go in the license plate holder on the front. The way it was packaged I feel like this came to me after having been returned. I did this by myself and used a floor jack and cribbing to raise the hitch to slide it forward and into the brackets. It was not a problem at all. The one thing I wish the instructions talked about was how when you take out your tow hooks in the front. When they go back in you have to hold them up to slide them into the upper slot as they can go down at an angle towards the ground and you cannot get the bolts through them. If you sit in front of the truck you can see the tow bar hole on the inside while you slide the bolt from the outside. I lost 3 hours trying to figure out why I could not get them to fit when all I had to do was make sure that the tow bar went in upright, perpendicular to the frame with no drop. I think adding that to the instructions would be helpful. The video did not show this. Everything else in the video was perfect except, they left out the shims that go between the plate and the frame. Watch the video and read the instructions and keep both handy and you can install this yourself.
On opening the box it didn't look right. Called got a live person. He explained it didn't have the flanges installed. I didn't see the box of hardware hidden under the well packaged hitch. We confirmed numbers and I gor started. I took my time watching the install videos going step by step. Took me about 4 hours. Plenty of leftover hardware for the many possible applications. Fit and finish AAA+++ will use for winch. Bike or luggage camping rack. Possibilities are endless. Another great purchase from ETRAILER.COM!

My background:
I have installed (2) other front receiver hitches on trucks in the past. Plus I have installed (2) 5th wheel hitches in times past---the kind that had the rails in the bed---you had to drill holes in the top and side of the truck frame. Meaning I am not new to this type work.
The front hitch on this 2025 Ram took me about 5-6 hours start to finish--I followed every step EXACTLY. The instructions are good and the hitch is heavy duty. ALL the parts fit in place very well. Take your time cutting the shroud and spoiler. It should last a long time...It is "hidden" when you put the tag mount in receiver--I like this--I did not want to see any part of the brackets hanging down when looking at the truck. A person just needs to know it is hard work to install it...It would be much easier to install if you have a lift to put the truck on in an air-conditioned shop--I did not have this.

Fit and finish is excellent. Although it can be done by one person having a helper for the main frame installation as described in the ETrailer installation video saves doing a bench press.
Start to finish it took me 4 hours using basic tools. Extra time is needed to get to several if the front air dam attachment nuts.
A quality torque wrench is needed to get the 200 ft lbs required

This hitch has been fantastic! It was worth every penny. The hitch is subtle so its not an eyesore on the front of the truck. Install was reasonably easy and it carried our electric mountain bikes through Death Valley with ease.
