Exactly what I needed took me about 45 mins to put on by myself. Only thing I haven my done is put the air dam back on it didn’t come with the template so got to figure the cut out but other than that it’s awesome. I love it because I can use my winch on the front or back now and I don’t have to keep my winch on the truck I can store it in my tool box out of sight
It’s been carrying my wife and my bicycles on the front of my Ram 3500 Laramie on a trip to the National parks the trip will exceed 14000 miles without any issues. Love my hitch!!

Ordered so I could stop putting my ladder inside my RV when towing to work areas. Install was simple. Slight hiccup with the first unit shipped but customer service fixed the issue fairly quickly.

We were thrilled to find a hitch that would fit our Ram 3500 diesel truck. Wish we could have arranged for less expensive shipping as we are in Canada and it added up pretty fast with exchange rates etc

This hitch has been fantastic! It was worth every penny. The hitch is subtle so its not an eyesore on the front of the truck. Install was reasonably easy and it carried our electric mountain bikes through Death Valley with ease.

Delivery was prompt. Actually before original delivery date. The hitch fit our 2024 Ram 3500 diesel just as it was made to. Easy enough to install. Installed it on the ground, with some wooden blocks under the front tires, in a campground. With a little help from my wife we were able to get the cross member slipped into the end plates and a couple of bolts in place. Took longer to figure out which bolts go where than to install the second end plate.
Quality hitch! Heavy duty! Impressive (email) shipping update communications from etrailer reps. Good install instructions and install video. Took me several hours and a few bumps on the noggin to install:) Removing bolts on the truck proved to be quite the task. It required a breaker bar and pipe slid over it. In the end I prevailed and I am very happy with the hitch.
On opening the box it didn't look right. Called got a live person. He explained it didn't have the flanges installed. I didn't see the box of hardware hidden under the well packaged hitch. We confirmed numbers and I gor started. I took my time watching the install videos going step by step. Took me about 4 hours. Plenty of leftover hardware for the many possible applications. Fit and finish AAA+++ will use for winch. Bike or luggage camping rack. Possibilities are endless. Another great purchase from ETRAILER.COM!

Fit well and I've used it several times, it is holding up real good and I can load my motorcycle on the front of the truck when I'm traveling which I done several times.
Also does great if you want to hook up and move trailer and you don't want to use the back hitch.
I took a quick look under it and it's still solid with not even any spot rust, I think the value of this is far worth it!

Still working like it should! Although I use it about once or twice a month to carry my motorcycle, front carry it shows signs of wear and tear or rust!
Solid hitch receiver! Took me roughly 1.5 - 2hrs to install by myself, and that's with running back and forth trying to find the right tools. Definitely recommend. Installed on 2024 RAM 3500 Dually

Received this last week, me and a friend installed with just normal ratchets and wrenches on jack stands. It took many more hours than the videos suggested for us (7hrs). BUT it fits well in my '24 Ram 2500. We used it yesterday for a bike rack that requires a 2" receiver, my truck came with a bigger one, and doesn't work with an adapter. It worked just fine, just what I was after and come our vacations with the 5th wheel - the bikes will fit fine up front.
Overall fitment and function is 5/5, no complaint there. It's a solid unit and fit like a glove. My lack of 5 star review is due to the customer experience (no fault of etrailer). Box was broken, so parts were flying everywhere. It's one giant bag of hardware, nothing is labeled. After going through it all, one part was missing, but wasn't needed for my install. The instructions I got were for a different vehicle altogether. etrailer customer service was great to confirm I had the right shipment, and got me the proper instructions. The instructions contained multiple typos on the hardware, referencing a 200mm bolt that didn't exist, etc. Doing it in my driveway as an amateur, without a lift, and just hand tools, it probably took about 8-10 hrs beginning to end. Recommend setting aside a weekend to do it. Torklift video on YouTube is worth a watch also. It Torklift improved packaging/instructions, it's easily 5 out of 5 stars. Torklift can't be beat for quality.
Heavy duty, solid. Love the tucked in. Two person install needed is a must. Watch their video for tips and suggestions.

Nice front hitch assembly. Bolted into my 2024 diesel 3500 RAM fairly straightforward. Do watch the installation videos they help clarify the written instructions. I use the front hitch primarily for a step to be able to see/service the engine area. The new trucks are too tall to see or reach anything in the engine compartment. Climbing on the bumper is too dangerous especially with snow/wet shoes. Not a pleasant experience slipping and falling on a hot engine. Having a 2” receiver up front does allow for use of a portable winch, bike rack, or slide in deck for additional hauling space. East coasters often put a deck up front for an icebox and surf poles. I’m very pleased with the hitch.
I installed the hitch on a 2019 Ram 3500 cab chassis. The plates had to be cut down slightly to fit otherwise it fits. Do not over torque the frame bolts! Packaging was torn up found most of the hardware lying loose in the box, but not all the nuts and bolts.

I was very impressed in the quality of this hitch and the thought that went into the installation kit. The end result is a very strong hitch, clean look and a very nice integration around the truck, specifically how it tucks up close to the cooler on the Diesel.
My only suggestion is for shipping/packaging. the only part you see after install is the 2" receiver opening, and it was the only part that was scratched badly in shipping, poking out of the box; it is going to rust.. :( I'd like to see a cap or other protection on this painted portion of the hitch.

I think that would be a great idea on the shipping end of things. In the mean time though, let me see about getting you some paint credit to be able to touch it up for now. Also, would you care to send in a photo of the hitch on the truck - sounds like you have a pretty cool set up!
Took a little longer to install than I'd hoped, but all parts were in perfect condition, all hardware was included, everything went well.
23' Ram 2500 Diesel. Straight forward installation. I used a floor jack and jackstands to get enough clearance for installation, a lift would have been much easier. I use the front hitch to move a 25' Ocean boat down a long winding driveway and a narrow gate. So much easier to move the boat now. High quality receiver, value equal to purchase price.
My husband and I absolutely love the hitch. It has made extra storage for us to carry bikes or Kohler fishing rods. It is definitely worth the cost.

2019 Ram 3500. Hitch looks great and installed easily. Hitch parts were wrapped up nicely and delivered with no damage. I have only an average tool box and some of the factory bolts were very difficult to remove. The videos were spot on the the written directions that came with hitch were great for reference. Highly recommend and would suggest over the lighter duty hitches available.
Easy installation with parts that fit perfectly. A very good product. I lost instructions and cut patterns and did whole install with etrailer video.
Simple installation, took about an hour. Does what I wanted it for, cargo rack or bike rack. I have a truck camper and the hitch allows me to carry extra gear without obstructing access to the camper door.

Still satisfied would recommend if someone wanted a front hitch, purchased a different model for a different truck to use as a spare tire carrier
Put the hitch on my 2020 Ram 3500 dually in a couple hours, (bevies included in that time). Instructions were straight forward. Installation was relatively simple with truck on ramps. Bought it so I could mount the winch in the front of the truck or rear. It saved my butt this winter when I backed down a steep icy driveway with a trailer attached and was unable to go back up. The hitch was strong enough to hold the winch and pull the truck and loaded trailer up the driveway. Paid for itself after one use.
This hitch was a breeze to install and was totally exited for the bonus licence plate adapter that goes in the hitch receiver when not in use.
