Craig, great question. The Reflex is a solid unit for lighter rigs, but the # ST95MR is built specifically for heavy diesel pushers like yours (Freightliner Chassis). It uses a hydraulic piston instead of coil springs, giving a smoother on-center feel and more precise centering under the higher steering loads of a Freightliner chassis.

It’s also chassis-tuned; Safe-T-Plus designs each color and bracket kit around a specific steering gear and GVWR, so you get balanced resistance without stiff steering in tight turns.

You’ll notice a calmer wheel and less correction fatigue on long drives - it’s a real upgrade over the Reflex in this weight class.
