A heavy front load can make your vehicle sag and throw off steering and braking. These SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs add up to 3,000 lbs of support at 50-percent compression to keep the front end level and balanced. They take the strain off your factory suspension so your ride stays steady, your steering feels firm, and your headlights stay aimed where they should be even with extra weight up front.
Road bumps and uneven terrain don’t have to mean a harsh ride. The microcellular urethane springs use progressive load control to compress easily under light loads for soft engagement, then stiffen as weight increases—up to 80 percent compression at max load. That means a stable, comfortable ride whether you’re unloaded or carrying heavier gear, with less bounce and jarring over rough pavement.
When curves or crosswinds try to push you around, each spring works independently to steady its side of the vehicle. This design reduces body roll through turns and helps compensate for off-center loads so you stay in control even when things get uneven. It all adds up to better stability and a more planted feel behind the wheel.
No air lines, no compressors, no pressure checks—these springs are completely maintenance-free. Installed myself, took about an hour and a half on the first side and about 45 minutes on the second side. I have not taken a long trip yet but a 5 mile test drive after installation seemed very positive. Will update later after a trip.
These springs made a big difference in the handling of my Newmar Baystar 31' motorhome. Much improved ride compared to the factory suspension.

The difference is tremendous. Much better feel on the road. Handles bumps much better, lessons road noise and more stable. Massive improvement on my 2020 class A gas coach.
They did absolutely nothing for my RV. I end up sticking airlift 5000s on.
Ordered the sumo springs on a Thursday and received them on a Thursday used the on line video they have had had them installed in no time this isn’t the only product I have gotten from them and will continue to use them great service
20 minutes each side to install. Very easy & easy instructions. And WOW! What a difference in ride, handling & comfort. Immediate results . I've used sumo springs before & can't say enough good about them & etrailer as well.
Easy install, took about an hour. They absorb some of the road cracks and makes other bumps smoother. It really helps on cornering with significantly less leaning and roll Happy with etrailer and product.
The Sumo Springs that I added to my 2020 Fleetwood Bounder motorhome (along with a Safe-T-Plus) seem to have corrected the ride & handling problems that I was experiencing. I rated the product 4 out of 5 stars because I have only driven the motorhome 20 miles of so home from the shop. The route did, however, include some rough pavement , narrow lanes & construction zones which were MUCH more difficult before. In all honesty, this is probably a five star product. I can’t wait to take a longer trip & see how it does.
These made a huge difference in the drivability and handling of my 2018 Ford F53-based bounder 35K. Highly recommended. And the team at etrailer.com is super responsive and helpful.
I strongly recommend this upgrade, combined with additional/reinforce sway bar. You driving will be more pleasant, less stressful and safer.

When you look at the bumpstop and all the travel it can go, it makes sense to fill that space with a constant contact chusion, such as the Sumo Spring. I have a 2011 F53 chassis supporting a 32 Class A motothome. 16,000 GVW and no slide. I only installed the fronts to see how they worked. I did it myself and it took about 2 1/2 hours. If I can do it anyone that can work a wrench and understands basic mechanics can do it. I'm 60 and it's a tight space under there and takes some effort, but the jobs not hard, just doing it is hard and uncomfortable. My motorhome would ride very rough on the same roads my car ran smooth. The Sumo Springs were an improvement. They did not solve the rough ride on real poor highway, but on normal rough roads, they were an improvement that will benefit the ride on more roads than not. I now plan to do the rears when I get time.
Sent the wrong ones. We were leaving in a few days and needed these to replace the broken bump stop on my F53. When I called customer service to explain the situation, I was told they could get them to me in 3 days for $140. $140 to fix their mistake? I bet if I were a YouTube influencer, I would have had them overnight. So much for the common guy.
Preston did a great job helping me spec in the correct springs for my 2016 Thor Hurricane 27K on a F53 chassis. Placed order with him over phone and received springs two day's later. I just installed them and took Motor home on a test drive around town on bumpy streets and what a difference it made. Drives more like a truck now and less like a boat. I also installed a steering stabilizer spring and did the cheap handling fix to the sway bars. Well worth the time and effort. I did notice that the etralier installation video shows the bottom brackets of the spring installed with the "U" down which is opposite the mfg's printed instructions. I did mine according to the printed instructions cause it seemed to make more sense. Probably no big deal either way.

My THOR motor coach has the Ford F-53 chassis. I rides like a truck. That should not be surprising as "it is a truck." I purchased and installed these Sumo Springs and even though it will never be "air bag" suspension, the Sumo Spring made a wonderful difference in improving the ride. I would recommend this add on to everyone and as I meet similar motor coaches on the road, I show them the Sumo Springs and I do recommend them.
Front and rear Sumo Springs installed. Have not had a chance to hit the highway as yet. Locally a very good ride. Thanks to Joanne K. for all of her help.
The front Sumo Springs made a major difference in the stability of my Winnebago motorhome. It handles the bumps much better without major jarring of the passengers and dampens the side to side motion in turns and under crosswinds.

After a year of use, this product is the best investment I have made to my Winnebago motorhome. I highly recommend adding Sumo Springs to any gas motor coach to improve stability, ride, and safety!
I put front sumos on my 35’ class A MH in 23. (22k F53 chassis). I noticed reduced front sway and better tracking. Especially improved when semis pass. I then put rear sumos on along with a 1-3/4 sway bar on the rear this year,24. Improved handling and ride all around. Nothing more to do. All for under $[XX].

We have a 2009 build F53 chassis on our 2010 Windsport 32A. I ordered these Sumo springs for the front axle. Hated how bad our coach dashboard would shake and rattle when going over bridge transitions, potholes, and concrete roadway section breaks. Took about an hour and were easy to install alone. Couldn't believe how much these helped the front axle. Worked so well I recently bought a set for the rear axle also. Those are a bit harder to install due to having to drill holes in frame rails to mount the upper bracket and glad I had friend to assist me. Would have only taken a little longer without the help but still easy to do by basic mechanic skills. With having both now we can certainly tell the difference and wished I had bought them sooner.

Our Sumo springs have been the best addition we have made to our coach. Now retired, we have been getting out and driving farther and the Sumo Springs have made the ride so much better. Highly recommend them on this F-53 chassis.
I received my sumo springs in just 2 days after placing order I had new tires put on my class A Winnebago along with front end alignment with the sumo springs it made all the difference I feel like the wandering and the side to side roll has been cut down 70 % I also want to say I do have safety plus stabilzer installed on the 2019 30ft Winnebago sunstar that helped a lot as well
Very fast delivery. I haven’t had time to install yet but if they’re easy as the instructions say, they’ll be fine. If they help as well as the rear Sumo Springs, I’ll be well satisfied

They definitely made a difference in the ride and handling. I’m still impressed every time I drive the motor home on rough roads. They’re very easy to install and It didn’t take long at all to install them.
I added sumosprings to the front and rear of our 2017 Fleetwood Bounder 36H. The ride and stability definitely improved. It’s not like an air ride but much better than before. Eliminated about 80% of the push when big trucks pass and improved a lot of the bumps. Before doing the springs I replaced the factory shocks with Keno’s and also put on a rear stabilizer bar. Each of those had some improvement but the Sumosprings had the biggest improvement. I put them on myself. The fronts were easy. No drilling just bolt them on. The rears were more involved because I had to remove the rear tires. Once they were off it didn’t go bad. Because of removing the tires the first side took about 2 hours. The second side 90 minutes. I would definitely recommend them.
I have a 2015 Winnebago Vista 31ke. I put the sumo springs on the front only (I do have the rear track bar and front safe-t-plus on already) and could definitely feel an improvement! No more hard rocking to the left and right when pulling out of parking lots or making turns!
Definitely recommend these, and they were easy to install also.....just read the installation instructions first to make sure you are capable.
Heavier and bigger than I thought. I haven't installed them yet but there are plenty videos on how well they do. Hand and mouse in pictures for context.
